Catalyst Rwanda is a new not for profit organisation, currently applying for charitable status. It was established in 2011.
The people behind Catalyst Rwanda are:
Nicola Triscott (Project Director)
Nicola is a cultural producer. She is founder and Director of The Arts Catalyst, a UK arts, science and education non-profit organisation. She has traveled extensively in southern, central and East Africa.
Kate Scanlan (Project Director)
Kate is leading the hip hop dance programme. Kate was Associate Director on Breakin’ Convention, an international hip hop dance festival, and is a dance teacher and practitioner. Kate has traveled in several African countries.
Rafiki Callixte (Partner)
Rafiki runs Les Enfants de Dieu street children’s centre in Kigali and is the founder of Spark 4 Change. He was a teacher and laywer before the 1994 Rwandan genocide. He now devotes himself to working with vulnerable young people.
